6 Hour Row-a-thon for Children in Need - Public-i Events

Public-i's 6 hour Row-a-thon

WHAT IS CHILDREN IN NEED?

BBC Children in Need is the BBC's UK corporate charity. Thanks to the support of the public, they are able to make a real difference in the lives of children all across the UK.

THEIR VISION

Their vision is that every child in the UK should have a childhood which is safe, happy, secure, and allows them to have a chance to reach their potential.  They achieve this by providing grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged.

PUBLIC-I'S SUPPORT

Public-i is not just a webcasting service provider.  We are a company built on many different minds and backgrounds.  Every year we strive to support many local and national charities by participating in, and holding our own fundraising events.  We have been successful in raising money for Macmillan with our annual Coffee and Cake morning, and now are teaming up to row for 7 hours in support of Children in Need.

6 HOUR ROW-A-THON

On 13 November, 2015, members of the Public-i office staff will be participating in a 6 hour Row-a-thon in the lobby of Public-i Towers, located at the Sheridan House in Hove.  From 9:30am until 3:30pm, office members will be taking shifts rowing.  If you are feeling competitive, come on down and join us from 12pm - 2pm for a rowing challenge, with prizes for the top of each leaderboard.

As no good event is complete without treats, our office staff will also be selling some homemade baked goods in our Bake Sale also taking place in the lobby.

In the area?  Why not come down, grab a cupcake, cheer us on, or maybe even challenge us in a Row-off!

Can't come down?  Check out our live webcast of the event right here, and help support our efforts by donating at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/publici

See you Nov. 13 :)
